GITL Receives $1,000 USD Donation from KHF
Girls In Technology Liberia (GITL) is proud to announce the generous donation of $1,000 USD from Mr. Christopher Kear, the CEO of Kear Humanitarian Foundation, in support of our mission to bridge the gender gap in technology and empower more women and girls through digital skills training.
This contribution directly supports GITL’s 2025 target of empowering 300 additional women and girls, helping them gain essential digital literacy and computer skills to compete in today’s workforce.
We are extremely grateful to Mr. Kear for believing in our vision,” said Madam B. Massa Weeks, Founder & CEO of GITL. “This support moves us one step closer to reaching our goal for 2025 and creating opportunities for women and girls who are passionate about technology but lack access to proper training.
The funds will be used to support tuition-free training programs in Basic Computer & Microsoft Office Suite, as well as tech mentorship, IT support, and internship opportunities for GITL trainees.
Mr. Kear, through the Kear Humanitarian Foundation, has continued to support grassroots organizations that uplift marginalized communities. His donation serves as a powerful reminder that collective impact begins with one generous act.
As GITL continues to scale its programs, we invite individuals, organizations, and partners to join us in ensuring no woman or girl is left behind in the digital era.
