Our mission is to train and empower 2,500 Liberian women and girls by 2030 through free, digital literacy and technology training—equipping them with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to thrive in the digital world.

We envision a digitally inclusive Liberia where every woman and girl has the skills, confidence, and opportunity to lead, innovate, and succeed in technology and beyond.

GITL is dedicated to empowering women and girls through free digital literacy training.
Girls In Technology Liberia (GITL) is a nonprofit organization committed to bridging the gender gap in technology by providing free digital literacy, computer training, and tech mentorship to underprivileged women and girls across Liberia.
Founded on February 5, 2019, GITL officially began active operations in 2022, with a mission to advance gender equality and empower women through technology-driven opportunities.
