The Women in Tech workshop events were created to foster a supportive network for women who have
interests in technology, entrepreneurship, and freelancing. This workshop aims to bridge the gender gap in technology by encouraging more women to learn basic and advanced skills in technology that will help with self-development and career development. Working in tech is not all about coding or becoming a cyber agent and these workshops are targeted at de-mystifying tech for young Liberian women to take advantage of the vast opportunities available for a long and successful career. These workshops will bring together women at every level, from students to senior-level executives, to connect, educate and inspire through different activities across the targeted locations.

The workshop is theme DEMYSTIFYING TECH. Demystifying Tech will look at how technologies can be used to enhance efficiencies within businesses and personal career growth. This event will give women the space to learn about a variety of technologies and how they can be used for business development and growth. The event will not only enhance accessibility but also enrich participants’ experiences.
During these events, participants will be able to pose cross-level questions to speakers and professionals about working with technology to create productions that maximize potential capabilities.
